Start with the workflow
Map the journey from receiving a request to delivering it. Ask your team where they repeat work, re-enter information or struggle to serve customers. Define a specific problem before choosing software.
Choose a focused starting point
Compare opportunities by customer impact, effort, cost and data readiness. Start with one workflow, such as order tracking or customer records. Give it an owner and an expected outcome instead of changing everything at once.
Measure before expanding
Record a baseline such as completion time, error count or time spent entering data. Pilot the solution with a small group, collect feedback and compare results before expanding. Training and adoption are part of the change.
